We offer private and semi-private swim lessons for toddlers starting at six months of age. Our Learn To Swim program slowly takes children from full support to no support while in the pool. Similar to teaching someone how to ride a bike without training wheels, our dedicated swim instructors will begin by providing complete support while in the pool and slowly taking that support away as your toddler becomes comfortable with each stage of the program.
Our Learn To Swim program includes:
- Level 1: Introduction to the water
- Level 2: Fundamental aquatic skills
- Level 3: Stroke introduction and development

Each level gets your toddler more and more familiar with being comfortable in the water and able to swim to safety. Also, by performing the swim lessons in your own pool, your child is able to learn every aspect of the pool and how to swim to the steps or wall. This ensures that they can swim to safety in the instance of falling in.
Swim lessons will continue until you are comfortable with your child’s swimming abilities. We want to make scheduling swim lessons quick and easy! When you fill out our online registration you will provide Florida Swim Company staff with your ideal days and times that you would like to have swim lessons. We pick out the perfect swim instructor for you and will reply with a schedule that best suits your needs. Going on vacation? No problem! Just include the dates in your comments and we’ll be sure to skip lessons that week. Your credit card will not be charged until you approve the schedule that is emailed to you. Once approved, we give you your swim instructor’s name, biography and contact information – so you will be able to have direct contact with them if you have any scheduling issues.
