Madi is eager to be a part of the Florida Swim Team, she is Red Cross certified in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid! This Pennsylvania native is pursuing her master’s degree in sports nutrition at Florida State University. For the last year and a half while completing her bachelor's degree at Penn State University she was a performance nutrition intern and worked with their football, gymnastics, and swim teams to educate the athletes and provide them with proper nutrition to ensure peak performance in the classroom and on the playing field. Her love for swimming began at an early age when her mom began to manage their community’s public pool and every day of the summer was spent poolside. Her competitive swimming career began in high school and continued through college where she specialized in long distance freestyle events. Since then, she has worked as a lifeguard, volunteer swim coach, taught private swim lessons, and even spent a summer building pools. Madi loves to work with swimmers of all ages and share her love for the sport any chance she can!
