Yazmin

Since childhood, swimming has been a profound passion driving my life's journey. My swimming career commenced at the age of six with the YMCA swim team, sparking numerous competitions across Florida and connecting me with talented peers. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic during my 16th year, my dedication to the sport persevered. I continued swimming with my high school team, where I proudly served as captain for a year. These experiences have deeply ingrained in me qualities of dedication, resilience, and unwavering passion—traits that I bring to every swim lesson I teach. At 17, in 2021, I began instructing at the same YMCA where my swimming journey began. Now at 20, my aim is to inspire and nurture a love for swimming in each of my students, spanning ages from 6 months to adults. My greatest wish is for every student to find genuine enjoyment in the water and have as much fun as possible. I hold certifications in CPR, AED, and Lifeguarding, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment at all times.
