Originally hailing from Texas, I relocated to Florida to pursue my passion for horses. My affinity for water began in childhood, drawing me in like a magnet, and led me to start competitive swimming at the tender age of five. Throughout my high school years, I excelled in swimming, joining the varsity team as a freshman and earning a spot on the senior relay team. My swimming journey extended to national levels with aspirations for the U.S. Olympics, until an injury redirected my path. Subsequently, I became a certified swim instructor and lifeguard in 2014. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching numerous individuals, ranging from six-month-old infants to adults, including those with special needs. My expertise lies in stroke mechanics, a skill I am deeply passionate about sharing. I am committed to water safety and hold current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of working with you and continuing to foster a love and respect for swimming.Luis
Hello, I'm Luis, and my deep connection with water began at the tender age of 5. I discovered an unparalleled sense of tranquility near it that has kept me captivated ever since. Originally from Cuba, I spent 15 years representing Cienfuegos as an elite athlete before transitioning to coaching. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Physical Education solidified my path. In 2011, after completing my studies, I had the privilege of mentoring a group of 20 swimmers aged 13-14, achieving great success in interstate competitions over two years. Upon moving to the United States, I embarked on a lifeguarding career in Florida while simultaneously coaching diverse age groups—from toddlers to seniors—in private swimming sessions. My passion lies in transforming lives through swimming, whether overcoming aquaphobia, refining technique, or preparing for competition. I offer personalized guidance in a supportive environment, aiming to unlock each client's full potential. I am certified in CPR, AED, WSI, and Lifeguarding, ensuring safety alongside skill development.Wendy
