Patricia, "Patti"

Patricia, AKA "Patti," was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She started swimming at a very young age and started swimming competitively around 7 years old. Patti has competed in many international swimming meets. including Junior and Senior World Championships, Central American Games (2x bronze and 1x silver medalist), Pan American Games and many championships around the Caribbean and U.S. Competitively. Patti has won medals in the breast, free style, and butterfly strokes. She is the current record holder in Puerto Rico for the 50-meter breast stroke. Her whole life has revolved around the water, not only because she loves to swim, but she finds it as her haven. Patti enjoys teaching kids/adults new things that will make them better and more successful swimmers. She will work on building the swimmer's confidence as well as techniques. Patti also loves teaching adults and children with disabilities. She holds certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED for infants, children, and adults. She is also certified in Safety Training for Swim Coaches. Patti is fluent in English, Spanish, and conversational in Portuguese.

Ahmed - "Mr. A"

Ahmed grew up on the water, surfing and swimming. His father was a lifeguard, which led Ahmed to train and compete as a junior lifeguard starting at age 11. Ahmed's background is in medicine and working with children - certified as an EMT. He also works at a local preschool in Wellington as a swim instructor, as well as lifeguards at a local waterpark. Ahmed has experience teaching all ages, behaviors and skill levels - including special needs. He works with "For the Love of Surfing," a program that uses surfing as a therapy program for those with special needs. He is certified through The American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instruction (Swim Instructor) and is a Certified EMT. In his spare time, Ahmed is very active within the West Palm Beach community as a mentor with Common Genter and conducting missionary work with Christ Fellowship of North Palm Beach, Florida.


Sandy is a proud, South Florida native who is a mother of four with a coaching history that dates back to 2008. Since then, she has coached ages ranging from 5 to 75 and has experience in swim, racing/competing as well as open water swim (ocean, lake, river). She has personally completed over 12 marathons, 20 triathlons and 4 IRONMAN races. She was instructed by the United States of America Swim Association and USAT (Triathlon). As a physician she holds a current CPR certificate as is required for her license, as well as AED and BLS .


Christopher was born and raised in Florida, and has worked in the aquatic field since 2016. Christopher’s passion for the water started in high school where he swam competitively throughout his junior and senior year, and continued on with his first swim instructor job at a local swim school. He is experienced with all ages and abilities. He is certified as a WSI and lifeguard along with CPR and AED certification through the American Red Cross.


Christian has been lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons since 2015. Although born and raised in NY, he has always wanted to move to Florida and decided to get certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard. Christian enjoys working with children up to 15 as this is the range where most of his experience, in and out of the water, has been; however, he will teach any and all ages. He has worked as a teaching assistant at a school for children with autism and currently is pursuing ABA therapy as a registered behavior technician. Christian is also a certified therapeutic horsemanship riding instructor for people with disabilities. Outside of working, Christian enjoys hanging out with his dogs, riding horses, going to the beach, and exploring new places. In NY, he was a volunteer firefighter and is certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. Christian looks forward to helping progress you or your child’s swimming skills and abilities.


Javier has always had a passion for water and especially people. He was a competitive varsity swimmer for 4 years back in his day while volunteering at the local aquatics center to assist instructing. Swimming since 3, this aquatics veteran is here to teach his secrets of the water. His competence in the water along with his empathetic communication makes learning cool & easy & most importantly fun & safe! Certified Adult first aid/CPR/AED, you’re in good hands!


Victoria, AKA “Polo”, was born and raised in South Florida. Of Dominican descent, Victoria has loved being in the water for as long as she can remember. Victoria was a competitive swimmer for 5 years; pool lifeguard for 3 years and is now a certified swim instructor through the American Red Cross. Victoria also obtained her Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid through this organization. She is experienced with swimmers of all ages and abilities. Victoria’s patient and encouraging approach to teaching has helped many of her students achieve their goals. She has worked with many participants ranging from toddlers to children, to mommy and me classes. Her passion is nonetheless to teach. Seeing her students progress and develop new skills they didn’t have before, truly makes it all worth it. She has also worked as a camp counselor to 20 nine year olds, which is challenging but has also strengthened her to work with big groups and different characteristics. Victoria is fluent in English and Spanish.


Morgan is a small town girl originally from the Berkshires, Massachusetts. She was once a young girl who was terrified of jumping into the water, but took swimming lessons at a young age and fell in love with the water. She went on to join her high school’s swim team and competed for two years. It was from her time on the swim team that she became lifeguard certified and even went on to teach swim lessons. Morgan has been certified through the American Red Cross for Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid over the past 6 years. Along with teaching swim lessons, she has also been a Head Lifeguard for a town beach, and has performed an assist save on a young girl actively drowning in the deep end. Morgan has experience teaching lessons to kids 12 and under, and enjoys nothing more than seeing a kid smile after they have mastered a new technique. Aside from lifeguarding, Morgan received her BA in Journalism last year and finds her passion in video editing and photography, having won multiple awards for her videography.


Abigail grew up in Hutchinson, MN and has enjoyed doing water sports on the lakes since she was very young. She first began lifeguarding and teaching lessons at age 15 and quickly grew to love working with kids and watching them fall in love with swimming. Abigail is certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. She believes in a fun approach to teaching children the skill of swimming safely and looks forward to creating a positive and exciting experience for your swimmer!

Bethany "Thany"

Thany grew up in Colorado where she discovered her love of the water through competitive swim team, water sports, and days on the lake. She worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor in college, and has taught and coached kids in everything from swimming and soccer to ecology and english. Her love of the ocean pushed her to get her scuba certification in Indonesia, and to study abroad in Mexico for marine biology. She recently relocated to Florida where she gets to spend time near the water as a sea turtle researcher. Thany is excited to be putting her teaching and swim knowledge to use as an instructor and is ready to jump into summer! She is currently CPR/AED certified, as well as first aid and open water scuba certified.


Miranda is a local business owner and insurance broker who also teaches lessons in her spare time, seven days a week. Originally from New York, where her family owns a Summer Camp for young children, she came to love the water doing swim lessons for camp attendees. Miranda was also previously a hospice nurse and is currently a reservist with the United States Navy as an E3 Logistics Specialist. She is CPR certified by the American Red Cross Association and has experience with special needs and works with clients between 2 years - adults. Miranda loves working and helping others reach their fitness and swim goals!


Hello, my name is Niola Baronette, and I have been teaching swimming classes to children and adults for the past three years. I've also babysat and worked with kids for four years. I studied social work at Broward College and am currently enrolled there. Because it just takes a minute for a parent to lose a child, I adore teaching swimming. If I have the chance to make a parent feel more at ease while their child is swimming, I will do it wholeheartedly. Niola is certified in CPR, BLS and AED.


Bibiana was born in Hungary and moved to the US in 2013. She has been swimming since age 3 and started competing at 8 years old having had much success over the years in competition. She has been a caregiver for some time and really enjoys working with the elderly. She enjoys a lot of hobbies, but mostly loves going to the gym and helping friends and clients achieve their fitness goals. Bibiana is a certified Water Safety Instructor and Swim Coach and is also certified in CPR/AED/BLS and First Aid.
