Patricia, AKA "Patti," was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She started swimming at a very young age and started swimming competitively around 7 years old. Patti has competed in many international swimming meets. including Junior and Senior World Championships, Central American Games (2x bronze and 1x silver medalist), Pan American Games and many championships around the Caribbean and U.S. Competitively. Patti has won medals in the breast, free style, and butterfly strokes. She is the current record holder in Puerto Rico for the 50-meter breast stroke. Her whole life has revolved around the water, not only because she loves to swim, but she finds it as her haven. Patti enjoys teaching kids/adults new things that will make them better and more successful swimmers. She will work on building the swimmer’sconfidence as well as techniques. Patti also loves teaching adults and children with disabilities. She holds certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED for infants, children, and adults. She is also certified in Safety Training for Swim Coaches. Patti is fluent in English, Spanish, and conversational in Portuguese.
Emma was born in Ohio and raised in Alabama. She studies Criminal Justice & Legal Services at the University of Alabama, through distance learning. She recently moved to Florida and started teaching swim lessons again! She has loved swimming ever since she was a young child and swam competitively at 5 years old. Emma has been a lifeguard for 6 years and worked her way up to lifeguard/pool manager. She is American Red Cross CRP/AED/First-Aid certified. Throughout her years, Emma was also a swim coach and a kid’s camp lifeguard. Emma has been a swim instructor for 5 years and works with clients of all ability levels. She especially likes to teach between the ages of toddlers to teens. Emma is looking forward to teaching your child to be a proud and confident swimmer!
Mallory is a life long swimmer who fell in love with the water before she could even walk. As a native Floridan, she understands the importance of introducing the water at a young age or at any age. Mallory has been teaching students, of all ages, for over a decade and has experience with special needs swimmers. She has her bachelors in education with a special focus in special education. She is also certified in professional CPR/AED and is familiar with American Sign Language (ASL). When not in the water, Mallory enjoys curling up with a good book.
Olivia was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is perusing an Accounting Degree at Saint Leo University. Olivia started swimming competitively at the age of 5 years old and continued up to her first year of college. She enjoys all activities related to water, especially Water Polo. She has worked in the lifeguard field for approximately 6 years and has been teaching swimming lesson for 3 years. She is experienced at teaching all ages and abilities with a soft spot for adults who want to learn! She is also a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR/AED. Olivia can’t wait to jump in the water and coach you and/or your child to become a more confident swimmer.
Tiffany was born in South Africa and immigrated to the U.S with her family in 2011. She's been in the water since she was a baby and has always found peace in aquatic environments. She began her competitive swimming career at the age of 7 and continued through age 18. Tiffany teaches children ranging from infantry to early adolescence. She is currently studying at Florida Atlantic University to earn her Bachelors of Science which she will use to pursue a Masters in Behavioral Psychology. In her free time, Tiffany loves to go to the beach, learn new things, or take a fitness class! She is certified in infant/ child/ adult CPR/AED and first aid. She looks forward to helping her clients adapt and become comfortable in the water!
Ayesha is originally from Trinidad and Tobago, where she started swimming competitively at the age of 5. She has been swimming all the way up to college level when she then paused to further her studies. Ayesha will be graduating from Lynn University soon with a Bachelors in Biology, hoping to get into marine biology because of her love for the ocean. Ayesha is currently certified in lifeguarding with CPR/AED for professional rescuers and first aid. She's had many years of experience coaching young children, as well as just helping children in general socially. Ayesha can’t wait to have fun in the water and help her students enjoy the water as much as she does!
Christopher was born and raised in Florida, and has worked in the aquatic field for 4 years. Christopher’s passion for the water started in high school where he swam competitively throughout his junior and senior year, and continued on with his first swim instructor job at a local swim school. He is experienced with all ages and abilities. He is certified as a WSI and lifeguard along with CPR and AED certification through the American Red Cross.
