Swimming is a vital, life-long skill that may one day save your life or the lives of others. It is important to get your little one familiar with water at a young age. We offer private and semi-private swim lessons in your home pool. Private lessons give your child the attention they require to learn and excel in the water! Our certified and experienced instructors will teach breath control, switching directions, floating, basic stroke mechanics and any other skills you need to reach your goal. Games may be added to swim lessons to challenge the student and mix up the curriculum. We know that sometimes swimming can be an unpleasant experience. Here are some things we recommend to help your swim lessons go smoothly:

Use goggles (if needed). We don’t like our students relying on goggles, but if it helps soothe their fears, we encourage it!
Have water nearby. Water breaks are important to stay hydrated! Believe it or not, you can get pretty warn out and lose a lot of water while swimming even though you are submerged in water! (Funny, we know!)
Have fun! Swim lessons don’t always have to be serious. Joke and laugh with your instructor, they won’t bite!
Parents, it is completely normal for your child to cry. The sensation of water on or in a child’s face is not always the most pleasant. Be patient with your child’s instructor and trust that they would never put your child through anything they could not handle!

Florida Swim Company Offers Swim Lessons On Weekends!

In addition to providing lessons every week day, we have instructors that are available on the weekends for your convenience. Your schedule is busy; We understand! That is why our online registration is as easy as 1,2,3. Once you’ve registered, look out for an email from Florida Swim Company. It will contain a draft schedule for swim lessons. Once you and your FSC representative have decided on your perfect schedule, you will receive a confirmation email and you’re all set! All you have to do is be home at the times and dates scheduled! Your swim instructor will come to the address you provide for your private swim lessons!
