Florida Swim Company Creates the Perfect Baby Swim Lesson at Your Home Pool in West Palm Beach, Florida
Florida Swim Company offers patient and loving swim instructors that come to your home or community to teach private and semi-private swim lessons to your baby. Got friends with babies, too? Feel free to invite them over! Our baby classes can have up to four parent-child pairs in the water with your instructor – making lessons super affordable. Prefer to stay out of the water, all together? No problem! Our instructor can work one-on-one with your baby focusing on water safety skills that can safe the child’s life.
Lessons are scheduled based on the availability you provide in your online registration. Our instructors are available every day for lessons – from sunrise to sunset. That way, we can dodge nap times and feedings.
Lessons can start at 6 months of age. All skills are gently taught using games, toys, songs and other fun activities to try to make the learning process enjoyable for you and the baby. With drowning being the leading cause of death for this age group, swim lessons are absolutely necessary.
Did you know that putting your child in swimming lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by 88%? Private swim lessons make for the best choice to make sure you get the results you’re looking for!
Want to be involved in the lessons? Teachers will show you everything they do so you’ll be able to practice with your child during family pool time!

Tips for Baby Swim Lessons in West Palm Beach
-
-
-
- SWIM WEAR Swim shirts or rash guards are suggested for infants during swimming lessons. The added layer helps keep them warm.
- POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT We ask that parents keep a positive attitude in the water with us. Your mood is very important during a swim lesson – when you are able to stay calm and encouraging, this energy directly transmits to your child. We ask that anytime your child has even the smallest victory, praise them!
- HAVE FUN Keep pool time fun! During family pool time, practice skills and cues in-between fun pool activities. Children are more willing the participate when in a good mood.
- BE PATIENT Learning to swim is no different than learning to walk – sometimes children do regress. This is completely normal! We ask parents to have parents with their child’s progress.
- POOL TEMPERATURE The pool is required to be above 82 degrees, but we recommend over 85 degrees for children under 1 years of age.
