Baby Swimming Lessons Tampa, FL What to Expect During Baby Swimming Lessons

Our private swim instructor will come right to your pool for your baby’s swimming lessons. If you don’t have a pool, we can schedule your lessons at a nearby community pool, or at your instructor’s own pool. Our instructors are all Red Cross Certified, background checked, and highly experienced, so you can feel confident your kids are in good hands.

During the lessons, our instructor will use games, toys, and songs while they teach your baby how to:

  • Adjust to the water
  • Kick, paddle, and float – both with and without assistance
  • Control their breathing, blow bubbles, and possibly submerge themselves underwater

The main goal of our baby swimming lessons is to teach kids how to fall underwater, turn themselves around to grab onto the edge of the pool, and then monkey walk – walking the hands along the wall – until they reach the stairs. This way, they’ll know how to get themselves out of the water should they ever fall in.
